THE TREND OF LIVING ALONE

if you've never lived alone in your life, i think you've missed an important experience.

9 months in edinburgh, was my first time living alone. away from family, friends, chaotic milan, away from any other thing and person i need to be separated from.
my first photo of my room

i had the best and even worst things about living alone!

1. living alone is a desirable experience, especially if you had to share a room with your other 2 siblings back home. i lived in a flat, with 5 bedrooms on it. and i had a French colleague living and working with me. we had our own very big rooms, with shared bathroom, kitchen, hallways and telephone!

my bed, table + electric heater beside my bed and lastly the snow outside window
2. it was good to live alone, you can always decide the set ups of your bedroom. you can create a space that's comfortable, gorgeous and practical. (my monthly schedule rota on the wall + the heater beside myself.. hmm perhaps Maltessers and Cadburys under my bed were always available! lol)
this table was a bit useless, i spend more time studying and reading on my bed than with this table.

3. you will find you have more time and space to be creative. without your sisters shouting and chatting all the time and parents watching tv and talking very loud, no roommates to distract you, you have to make your own fun. occasionally it will mean more motivation to write, clean or even just to think when you're away from them.

 4. you will cook more. yea, living alone will probably teach you to cook more and experiment foods! because finally no parents will tell you, you're rubbish in cooking and no people are watching and judging your amateur chopping skills. (and if your cooking was truly rubbish, you'll keep it all by yourself and just throw and think of the food you've wasted! lol)
my #1 own recipe: rice with mushroom + shrimp,
my #2 own recipe: spaghetti with carrot bites + boiled broccoli

my #3 own recipe: pasta with whipped cream & salt + green beans boiled with tomato sauce
my #4 own recipe: first chicken curry + salted rice
my #5 own recipe: rubbish pasta with hotdog + bread with butter (very rich butter)
living along led me to do great cookings, but you know several times living alone brought me to good fast foods, sometimes expensive restaurants and spend more money!
sushi ready to go!
meriendas outside
pizza delivery!
ready to go vegetable salads
surfing the net outside while having merienda
expensive meal :/
KFC's the best fast food ever!
